ACUMEN MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT LAW at the BMAs

On Tuesday 16th November, Acumenhad the pleasure of hanging out with rock legends Jimmy Page and Roger Daltrey at the 2010 Brighton Music Awards.

The event, founded by local industry veterans David Courtney and Paul Mex, was set up to praise the city's abundant musical talent and strong music scene.

Held at The Brighton Centre, the BMAs sold out before tickets were officially put on sale and raised thousands of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The award for Band of the Year was sponsored by ACUMEN MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT LAW and was presented by Roger Daltrey to friends of Acumen, Rubylux.

After the awards, guests descended on The Grand Hotel for an after party which carried on well into the early hours and saw Rock 'n' Roll royalty rubbing shoulders with the city's up and coming talent.

Jimmy page chatted with Acumen and said "I really enjoyed the night. There is a great energy from what is obviously a great music scene down here".
