ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW at 10 Downing Street

Penina Shepherd outside No.10Penina Shepherd, Managing Director of ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW, was invited by the Prime Minister to 10 Downing Street for an evening reception on Thursday 11 February 2010.

The event was to celebrate the success of Britain's SMEs and ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW was one of the selected businesses invited to mark the occasion.

Gordon Brown was busy on an emergency EU meeting in Brussels, but Peter Mandelson was there to greet the guests. Penina had the opportunity to discuss the government support for SMEs with both Mr Mandelson and Lord Alan Sugar, the government Enterprise Tsar.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for local businesses to reach central government.  It attracted leading SMEs from a variety of sectors and there were many familiar faces.
